Do you agree that we’re meant to evolve and grow as human beings? Sometimes we don’t pay attention to our inner stirrings until life circumstances push us to sit with ourselves and listen to our yearnings, hopes and dreams.

When the pandemic hit and we were all forced into lockdown, many of us took the opportunity to assess ourselves and our lives. It was and continues to be an opportunity to pay attention to what brings us joy, what we’re passionate about, and taking steps toward achieving our dreams.

My guest this week, Gemini, shares what they learned about their identity and who they are at their core while being quarantined during the pandemic.

As you’ll hear in this episode, Gemini, his mother and grandmother were starving during the pandemic and lost an alarming amount of weight. Gemini’s experience deepened their resilience, love, appreciation and deep gratitude for their family and what they have in their lives. The experience also helped Gemini to accept and love themselves more fully.

Listen in as we talk about:

  • What being non-binary means to Gemini
  • How the pandemic forced Gemini to explore their sexuality
  • Gemini’s support system and how the people in his life have shown support
  • How social anxiety and living in poverty has impacted Gemini’s life
  • The steps Gemini took to better themself for an even brighter future
